This section is for you to document your personal journey on guitar with a regular nudge in the right direction if you'd like! Jot down your thoughts, share videos of what you're practising, ask questions, anything you like really! It's not so much about where you are now, but more about where you're going!
Posting where you're at with things makes a great way to focus on what's needed and will give some real purpose to your guitar practice. What's more, I'll be on hand with the best of my 25 years' teaching experience to get and keep you moving forward on guitar, all on the house of course!

I'm still a keen student of the guitar, at 56 years old a bit further in than most but looking forward to adding regularly to my own journal too:

Welcome Chuck. I guarantee we can get you there with a little digging! My guess is you've run into some of the usual problems which I cover in the Taplature blog. Take a look here for an easy guide on getting strumming working correctly which will give you the groove you're after! Struggling With Strumming? If you click the link below and then on "Create New Post" you can start your own practice journal here to keep a record of progress and where I'll be on hand to keep you moving forward: https://www.taplature.com/forum/the-woodshed-diaries Will look forward to changing your view of things! Paul.
Struggling with rhythm, groove, and most of all strumming.
I can play some chords and bar chords but it really don't sound musical without strumming and no groove. Interested in trying Taplature to get there.
Been playing a few years, but not a lot of progress, starting late in life @ 60.
It sure does ... if you can start your own thread in this section. Pick a title and I'll spring into action when I get the chance!
Does that qualify me as a founder member!
