+ Understanding the fretboard semantically as well as spatially + Finger-picking for jazz accompaniment + Triads and triad superimpositions (these are fantastically useful)
+ Smoother connection of improvised phrases across key centres + More exciting ways of improvising over altered dominants
+ More chord voicings (this will never end!) + Better techniques for memorising complex changes
+ Dusting off blues articulation I haven't used for a few years and need for a new project I'm always happy to share experiences if any of this stuff interests you.
Sounds great ... if you use this thread as a scratchpad I can brainstorm a few of these alongside you. Some are well outside my comfort zone but I'll propose that the Taplature approach is fully applicable to each of them and is made to measure for digging into "blues articulation".
On another tack, sorry I can't make it tomorrow ... I sat up when I saw your ad as it's just 50m down the road from me but I'll have my 6 year old staying overnight so will be on duty!
